Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF

C/2022 E3 ZTF is a long period comet that was discovered by astronomers Bryce Bolin and Frank Masci on 2 March 2022 using the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) survey.

This comet, as many others, has a bright green glow around its nucleus, which was estimated to be around 1000 m in size. The comet reached its perihelion on 12 January 2023 (at a distance of 166 million km).

The image below was taken remotely on January 28 from my observatory in Àger with Takahashi FSQ-106N and STL-11000M.
